After a small hitch in my giddyup, I've finished Block 5 of my current Block of the Month from the Quilted B.
Getting these done soon after they come in each month is great! Only five more to go!
Imagine our surprise when we woke up to this yesterday morning! Overnight we got about 3-4 inches of spring snow! Taken from inside, this is looking southeast.....
....and southwest! I was worried the tree crew wouldn't be able to finish up today, but they arrived right on time! Those two bug stumps sticking up over the arbor are now gone!
This is the view from the window in the front door. Later on it all melted and the sun finally came back! I hope to finish our winter cleanup next week and get the garden ready for planting!

It has been in the 80s here...seriously toasty as we need to run AC.
Wow, look at that snow!!! This weather has been crazy. It was 87 here yesterday. High to mid 80s all week!! Crazy.
Block 5 turned out lovely!
Snow??? We've been having a record heat wave here in VA! Hope this is the last of the white stuff for you until next year!
Wow! I can't imagine waking up to that. It looks beautiful.
The snow is so pretty! I'm not ready for these over-warm temps that we've had so early this year.
I hope you had time to take a few rounds on your skis before the snow melted!
Mother Nature has given us all surprises this Spring. Your blocks are very pretty and I know this will be a wonderful quilt when it's finished.
Your place looks great even under snow! Like your blocks too, Candace!
Have a great weekend...I'm STILL painting walls, trim & a door :( So ready to get my room done so I can SEW.
Snow!!! Oh, my goodness. It sure is pretty though.
