My friend Cyndy (yes, I know several Cindy's) has started her own pattern company called Prim-Point Designs! Cyndy excels in embroidery, applique and wool applique, and her specialty is color crayon embroidery. Please have a look at her blog and website to see all the wonderful designs she has created! I'm so excited about this - and so is Cyndy. She sent me two of her new pattern releases to give away to you! I'll be giving each pattern away separately.
First is this darling framed stitchery called Behold. Included in the giveaway, is the entire kit to make the stichery (all except the frame), which I put together from my own stash!
The second pattern is called "The Frost is on the Pumpkin". The finished quilt measures 47 x 40 and features Cyndy's crayon embroidery. Now if you've never done this, don't be afraid! I was when I first tried it, but found it to be so easy and so much fun! I'm going to make this one even easier for the lucky winner! The Winner will receive the pattern, all of the floss to make the embroidery....and...a collector's Crayola Crayon tin which includes more than enough crayons to use in the pattern!

My favorite part of Halloween is taking my grandson out. What a great give away. I have done some crayon embroidery and enjoyed it.
Watching Grandpa follow our grandson down the street, you see we have to come to town for trick or treating. No one comes to us in the country.

Oooh what an awesome prize!! My favorite Halloween is scary night at my sons Scouts group, the leaders especially go all out to the point where you can hardly recognize them, very cool!!

Favorite part of Halloween? All the different pumpkins that you can decorate with and then the smell of burning pumkins on Halloween night with all the kids enjoying trick or treating so much. The pure joy in their eyes is priceless. Unfortunately, where we live, we do not get as many trick or treaters as I would like...and we live in a neighborhood! I enjoy the ones I get and they get lots of candy!

My favorite part of Halloween is... When my children wer little they would play in a pile of leaves, picking out their pumpkins at a pumokin patch... And the looks on their faces... Now, I love to watch the children in our neighbor hood and see what they are dressed like...:)

What a fun giveaway those patterns are really cool. Ilove fall and all it represents especially the brillance of color in the leaves and trees.We love to see the kids all decked out in their cute little outfits and to see their parents not to far behind. I love the smell of autumn, the colors of fall and the memories of trick or treating with our children. We were able to walk all over town because at that time we knew everyone..what a special holiday it is! Love the giveaways...hope I win!
Oh my, what do I like about Halloween? The decorating of course! I have some of the nicest runners and table things and even some fun things that the kids made when they were small like bats for the fridge and witches flying on brooms.
I'd love to win your contest...either project would be perfect for me since I'm in love with embroidery and would LOVE to try the crayon style...

before children, we use to love dressing up and handing out candy from our front porch... but after the kids came along we stopped dressing up... we were too scary for the kids and even the masks they didn't like. Oldest is 6 and twins are now 3 so maybe they will get better and understand... so we can one day dress up too ;) Now that Nora is in school - we go to their festival every year on Halloween night :) lots of family fun!

Fun giveaway! My favorite part of Halloween is coming up with and implementing the ideas for the kids costumes, there were some show stoppers over the years and now a new generation is starting!
Wow! Great giveaway! My favorite part about Halloween is all of the cute costumes! Each year my granddaughter and I find a really great one. Some of them I have made and some of them I have purchased...whatever she is in the mood for each year!

I love the season because it is usually cooler, but I hate what comes after it here in Ohio. I like to watch the kids go trick ot treating too.

Halloween is very fun in our neighborhood. My favorite part is giving out the candy to the neighbor kids and getting to see them year after year getting bigger and more adventurous with their costumes!
Hey Candace...I'm checking blogs late this evening as I was out with hubby and son #2 hiking today. While on the hike I spotted a few trees with leaves ALREADY turning that gorgeous orange color of Autumn...it is only July! Anyway....when I spotted that I quickly told hubby we had to go back and hike again in the Fall just to see the beauty. I don't know that I have a favorite part of Halloween besides the fact we still get that bowl candy in the house. :-)

My favorite part of Halloween is planning my grandkiddos costumes with them, to see their little faces when I have finished the sewing and then to see them head out the door with Big Papa as they walk down the street to find goodies at the neighbors. ( And it is cooler!!!)
That's an easy question for me, Candace. My favorite part of Halloween is making costumes. I love to make "one of a kind" things and Halloween costumes fall into that category. Oh, how I love to make them - and having two grandkids to sew for gives me such joy.

My favorite part of Halloween is that my birthday is right before it... so my birthday cakes were always "halloweeney". Now, for Halloween I howl to "scare" the little ones who come by the house on a hay wagon. Then they mimic me and have a great time. Sometimes it's the small things that are such fun. That's an easy one. 4 of my 5 (including son-in-law) kids have their birthday in the fall. We have one large birthday party for all of them called the Fall Birthday Bash with loads of food and decorations. Not exactly Halloween but my youngest is 21 this year and I don't have grandchildren yet. We live out in the country so no trick or treaters, either.

The best part of Halloween is Halloween night after I've got my yard all done up. The kids and their parents love it and I love coming up with different themes and seeing if they can identify it!
Second best part of Halloween is all the classic scary movies showing on the channels.

I love Autumn, it's finally cooler, I love the Fall colors. Getting out my Fall quilts and maybe making a new one. Passing out candy to the kids and sneaking a couple for myself. Being able to have the door open getting fresh air. I love stitchery, a fun little pumpkin stitchery design would be great to start on now to be done by Fall.
I love seeing all of the clever costumes people come up with. I also love seeing how much my daughter enjys Halloween.

My favourite part of Halloween? The colours, the children's faces when they come trick or treating, the smell of autumn, the way the outside of many houses are decorated in the US, but sadly not here in the UK. I could go on, I just love everything about it.

wow love these patterns. halloween is my favorite holiday with Christmas a close second. I love seeing my granddaughters come in with their little costumes on. I love the smell in the air in the fall. I just love everything about Halloween.
