How I love fresh picked lettuce! I buy several different varieties, wash it, then make my own salad mix which lasts far longer than the stuff in bags from the grocery store! It's a bit of work but well worth it!
There are several Asian flowers growers in our area. Here are just some of the buckets filled with flowers from which they make gorgeous bouquets.
This is my favorite vegetable stand. They are from the Wenatchee Valley in Eastern Washington - formerly orchard workers who now have their own vegetable farm. This is the son of the owner - they are so nice and have the best produce!
On one side of the market are craft vendors. This gal had some cute wall hangings for sewers! The picture is dark because she is inside a tent and with the gray skies this was the best I could do.
Now to the winner.....I used a random number generator and the winner is SewCalGal!! I've emailed you, but in case you see this first, please send me your mailing address.
Don't be surprised if you see a new look at Squash House Quilts in the near future! I've been wanting something different and am about ready to take the plunge!

I love to go to farmer's markets, I love to get the cheese and homemade breads they have. I love all the flowers yours had to offer, nothing like fresh flowers in the house!!
I also like Farmer's markets. We have one here in Galt, Ca., every Sunday, 8-1pm. We have about 10 venders for our small town, but you get the best produce and flowers! Can't wait to see your new look! Thanks for sharing the pics.
Regards,
Pam
LOVE farmer's markets. You would think with all the farms in Ohio that there would be an abundance of them. NOT. They're builing strip malls and houses on all the farmland. Besides most of what is grown is corn and a lot of that for feed. Can't wait to see your new stle.
Wow, what a wonderful market. I love fresh lettuce, as well.
Can't wait to see your new look.
I love farmer's markets. We have one every Saturday in our little town and virtually everything is locally grown. Yummo!
Can't wait to see the new look for your blog even though this one is super. I think we get bored with seeing the same old, same old every day. Change rules!
oh my goodness, farmer's markets are the best...i just love the fresh veggies and flowers...you guys have a gorgeous one! any news on your house this weekend? can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve for a blog makeover...☺
Congrats to the winner! This farmer's market looks like so much fun.
How sweet of you to give the patterns away Candace! Your farmers market sounds like a lot of fun. I really should go to ours, I just haven't taken the time the last couple of years. You've inspired me to get off my rump and do it though!
Great Photographs! Lush, North West produce, and so fresh!
Looking forward to your new look!
Oh my those vege's and OH THE LETTUCE... yummy! Got something changeable happening there do ya? Hmmm... peaked my interest.
Looks like some yummy shopping. I love that the family that used to work other peoples farms gets to have their own now.
You sure do live in a great place. One day I would love to come to your beautiful state. I missed a giveaway. Maybe next time.
I love the "a pucker is just a seam with attitude" - so true! Glad you had a nice day at the Farmer's Market. I love those!
Aren't farmers markets the best? *s*
Candace,
I also love Farmer's Market, but yours looks like it is much better than those in my area.
I am so very excited to have won your give-away. I love the patterns & book. They will certainly keep me busy using up my stash. Thank you so very much.
