I had so much fun doing this and even got to talk with Stephanie over the phone! She is as nice as her blog reads! Pattern writing is not an easy task. It’s good to have others interpret what you write to make sure that all of your directions jive with what’s in your head!
Here is my result. I used Linen from Pink Chalk Studio and a Nature’s Chorus charm pack by April Cornell for Moda. This is the front:
Here is the back. As time was of the essence, I quilted it the same way Stephanie quilted hers, but I can see all sorts of possibilities for finishing the bag!
Don’t you love the button? It perfectly matches one of the flowers in the prints.
And to make it all worthwhile - my new Netbook fits perfectly in the bag! Oh, joy!
