Two Down -- One to Go!

Yesterday was a lovely spring day in the Pacific Northwest. Not too cold, not too hot, partly sunny and the perfect day for a bike ride! Mr. Squash checked the tire pressure in both bikes, and off we went. We rode through downtown, then headed to our favorite park. Here we are taking a little rest. That is Puget Sound in the distance, Whidbey Island on the left - mainland on the right. Tides are -2 to -4 right now - perfect for beachcombing!

Here is Mr. Squash demonstrating his brute strength! On the left in the distance is Hat Island.
Other than working on my Christmas in July Swap gifts, there isn't much going on in the Squash House Studio at the moment. Here is a sneak peek of my second gift. I can't wait to get started on the third and final gift - I know its going to be my favorite!

I hope to have some pictures from the contractor at the Squash House soon to show you. He is supposed to begin installing the butcher block this weekend. As soon as he sends them, I'll be sure to give you a look!

Thanks for the sneak peek. It's beautiful. I haven't even started yet simply because I can't decide on what I want to make or which fabric to use or...or...or.

Time to get cracking!

What an awesome place to ride bikes. Mr. Squash is so strong. We all know how little those bikes weigh now. LOL My oldest son works in a bicycle store so I know a little about bikes. Love the fabrics in your mystery gift.

This makes me think fondly of the six months we spent in Seattle. It was wonderful to be surrounded by such beauty, even in the rain.
