Information Overload!

I attended a Microsoft Office 2007 training class at our State office all day yesterday. I really didn’t want to go and miss out on seeing the Inauguration live on the televisions in my office, but it was required so I had no choice. Much to my surprise and delight, the start of the training was delayed so the entire building could watch the Inauguration in the large conference room! We had two large screens so everyone could have a good view of the proceedings, there was a life-size “standee” of President Obama up front, the tables were set with plastic champagne flutes filled with sparkling cider, trail mix (one of Obama’s favorite foods) and all sorts of patriotic decorations! It was almost like being there in person. Way to go!

I had no idea what to expect in Office 2007! Because the training was delayed an hour and a half, the instructor really had to breeze through the information at warp speed! Despite the "information overload", I was really impressed with its capabilities! What I’m really excited about is that it has a “Publish to Blog” feature that I have yet to explore! As soon as I get a chance to explore that feature, I’ll let you know what I think!
